Revelation 16:13-14
13 And I saw coming out of the mouth of the dragon and out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet, three unclean spirits like frogs; 14 for they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them together for the war of the great day of God, the Almighty.
They are coming out of the mouth of the dragon (satan), the beast (the papacy), and the false prophet (false religious movement).
Revelation 16:1
Then I heard a loud voice from the temple, saying to the seven angels, “Go and pour out on the earth the seven bowls of the wrath of God.”
These are the 7 last plagues and they are coming from God in heaven. Who are these poured out on? On the people who have refused to follow Jesus.
Revelation 16:2
2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth; and it became a loathsome and malignant sore on the people who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image.
This first bowl falls on those that worship the beast. Each of the following bowls explains the different plagues that would occur on the people.
Revelation 16:12
12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.
The river Euphrates was the river that ran through the city of Babylon. This river ran under the wall and through the city. Bablyon fell by the Medo-Persians by diverting the water. This was ancient Babylon which is a symbol to today. And this symbol represents a spiritual Babylon. The river Euphrates also represents or is a symbol of something today. When the Euprhates dried up in the bible it prepares the kings of the east. Where does Christ come from? The east. This is a symbol pointing to the preparation of Christs return.
These 3 unclean spirits are working together to gather the kings of the earth or political leaders of the earth to decieve the world.
Revelation 16:16
16 And they gathered them together to the place which in Hebrew is called Har-Magedon.
Har means mountain. Megedon was a valley that was in Isreal that played a large significance in trade, battle, decisions which were between God and the enemy (false hood). It isn't possible to fit all the worlds armies within this valley so this battle that takes place isn't a physical battle but a spiritual battle.
Revelation 16:17
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl upon the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple from the throne, saying, “It is done.”
What has been happening in the temple? Christ has been ministering on our behalf in the temple. The ministry of Jesus in the temple has finished and when he is done he stands up (Daniel 12).
Revelation 16:18-19
18 And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. 19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell. Babylon the great was remembered before God, to give her the cup of the wine of ]His fierce wrath.
Bablyon represents the spiritual world that follows after the harlot and her daughters (false religion and teachers). The wrath of God has fallen on Babylon.
Revelation 16:20-21
20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. 21 And huge hailstones, about one hundred pounds each, *came down from heaven upon men; and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, because its plague *was extremely severe.
This is a very powerful storm and earthquake that the world has ever seen.
Psalms 91:1
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Through all this turbelance, if our faith is in God, we have comfort.
Revelation 16:15
15 (“Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who stays awake and keeps his clothes, so that he will not walk about naked and men will not see his shame.”)
It doesn't mean he is sneaking in your room to snatch you but coming at a time when the world is not expecting it.
Matthew 22:11-13
11 “But when the king came in to look over the dinner guests, he saw a man there who was not dressed in wedding clothes, 12 and he *said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without wedding clothes?’ And the man was speechless. 13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, and throw him into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
It is Jesus righteousness (garmet) that covers us. Why was the man speechless? The king provided the wedding garmet so he had no excuse. He had refused to accept the wedding garmet from God. If we don't permit God in our lives then we will not be in heaven.
